Yes, a limited number of scholarships is available for current or recently graduated students. The Selection Committee awards two types of scholarships:
Five FREETORINO scholarships covering half-board accommodation in Torino. These scholarships may be applied for by current students (i.e. undergraduates who will not have completed their degree at the time of the Summer School, or applicants who either are studying at the postgraduate level or will be doing so in the 2019-2020 academic year) or by former students that have graduated not earlier than one year prior the beginning of the Summer School and that do not have an independent source of revenue.
Applicants must not be resident in Italy.
Those who are awarded a FREETORINO scholarship will be lodged at one of Torino’s student halls from Sunday 31 June 2019 to Sunday 14 July 2019. A single or double room (depending on availability) and one meal per day (dinner) will be provided.FREETORINO scholarship recipients are required to attend a minimum of 50 hours of lectures/seminars, and achieve at least a “pass” grade in the final assignment. If these conditions are met, they will be asked to reimburse the expenses for accommodation and meals by Fall 2019.
Two ZEROTASSE scholarships covering tuition fees. These scholarships may be applied for by current students (i.e. undergraduates who will not have completed their degree at the time of the Summer School, or applicants who either are studying at the postgraduate level or will be doing so in the 2019-2020 academic year) that do not have an independent source of revenue.
Those who are awarded a ZEROTASSE scholarship will have their fee entirely reimbursed by 31 October 2019 provided that they have paid their fees in full (700€), have attended a minimum of 50 hours of lectures/seminars, and achieve at least a “pass” grade in the final assignment.
