The tuition fee is now 350€ (VAT included). This amount covers tuition, working materials, access to the library and three social events during the Summer School.
Tuition fees must be paid in full by all admitted participants ahead of officially joining the Summer School.
Only current students or former students that have graduated less than a year before the beginning of the Summer School may apply for ONE of the following scholarships:
ZEROTASSE: scholarships covering tuition fees. These scholarships may be applied for by current students (i.e. undergraduates who will not have completed their degree at the time of the Summer School, or applicants who are either studying at the postgraduate level or will be doing so in the 2020-2021 academic year) or by former students that have graduated not earlier than one year prior the beginning of the Summer School and that do not have an independent source of revenue.
Those who are awarded a ZEROTASSE scholarship will have their fee entirely reimbursed by 31 October 2021 provided that they have paid their fees in full, have attended a minimum of 85% hours of lectures/seminars, and have achieved at least a “pass” grade in the final assignment.
SROC: scholarships granting participation - as auditors - in the Stabilization and Reconstruction Orientation Course (SROC)
run by the Post-Conflict Operations Study Centre (PCSOC) of the Italian Army. The 2021 edition of the SROC will be held in the premises of the Italian Army in Turin from Monday 7 June 2021 to Friday 18 June 2021.
The aim of the SROC is to provide participants with a deep understanding of Stabilization and Reconstruction Operations (S&R) in complex post-conflict environments and of the instruments for intervention and management (kinetic and non-kinetic) required to put in practice the concept of "comprehensive approach". More information on the SROC may be found here
Those who are awarded a SROC scholarship will join the 2021 edition of the SROC free of charge as the tuition fees of 3,131.18€ will be entirely waived. The auditor status will imply that no certificate of completion will be awarded by the Italian Army. Yet, SROC scholarship recipients will have full access to all the training materials and learning activities of the 2021 edition of the SROC.
SROC scholarship recipients are required to pay in full their Engaging Conflict fee
, attend a minimum of 85% hours of lectures/seminars, and achieve at least a “pass” grade in the final assignment. If these conditions are not met, they will be asked to reimburse the costs associated with their participation in the SROC by 31 October 2021.
